Intermediate Dog Manners Training Class

MANNERS II

Please see our updated COVID-19 policies to ensure safety in our classroom.   Not ready to socialize?  Check out our online training or private training options!

Our intermediate dog manners class is the next step after graduating from our beginner level Manners I class.  This course aims to take your dog’s skills to the next level!

Wouldn’t it be great if your dog could pass distractions like people, other dogs, or food and instead of dragging you over to them, just check in with you and keep on trucking?  Distraction is the name of the game in Manners II!  This class is all about preparing your dog to face the really tough distractions your dog regularly faces in the real world and proofing his behavior to withstand them.  This includes food, toys, other dogs, prey animals, and more.

We also explore the use of shaping to introduce foundation heeling skills.
